    Hey Rbell,

President Bush is a universalist. Who cares? They are not pastors for a reason.

Dang. I was hoping to rid the world of a razorback fan. Guess I'll have to work on one of those "bandwagon" razorbacks...

Seriously...what I wouldn't give for a Ark/USC rematch...I don't remember many teams to make as vast improvements as they have this year. They acquired a pretty big swagger over the last 6 weeks...

Winning will do that for you. Maybe if Bama can beat Tennessee today, they will aquire a little swagger also.

    No kidding about Bama.

Bama is a solid football team. As a Hog fan, I will readily admit that we did not beat Alabama...Alabama beat Alabama.

Of course, I think Arkansas is playing better football now, but Alabama can easily go toe-to-toe with top quality teams.

But...but...but didn't the MIGHTY TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS destroy Alabama today?

Gotta make hay while the sun is shining. :)

By the way, where are the Detroit fans that used to post in this forum? I'm actually rooting for their team in the World Series.

    Putting on my objective hat:

At this point in the season it is clear that the Hogs have a better running attack than the Volunteers and the Volunteers have a better passing attack. Both teams appear to be evenly matched overall. If both take care of business then the game in Fayetteville on November 11 will be HUGE for both teams and should take on national importance.

I for one would like to see Casey Dick get more snaps. He has been performing quite well.

Yes, I loved that bomb that Casey threw. But Mitch had a very, very solid game. I am glad that we have Casey backing him up in case of injury or a bad game against one of the three tough opponents in November.

Fair, except that UT doesn't run it all that much... but they haven't rushed well this year. Their best back also injured a knee today.

Evenly matched? Hardly. UT dominated Bama everywhere except the scoreboard as I detailed on the other thread. Arkansas had less yards today against Ole Miss than UT had against Bama. And... I am pretty sure that Ole Miss had more yards than Bama had today. Bama actually dominated Arkansas and had their kicker choke the game away four times.

Arkansas has gotten progressively better to be sure. But evenly matched? I don't think so. Any way you slice or dice the on field performances of these two teams... UT is clearly better.

Mustain is clearly the better talent.

Throwing a bomb after the game is effectively over isn't like performing under pressure. Mustain has played better than any of the other highly recruited freshman QB's. I'd personally take him over Tebow.

Mustain performed better today than he has been. I'm not saying that Dick needs to take over the starting position, but I don't think it would hurt to use him a bit more (maybe an additional series per game).

The players will settle that issue on the field in Fayetteville on November 11.

I don't think you will like the result, Scott.

Knock it off guys. I'm tired of the "we'll settle this on Nov 11" junk.
