No one even offered to help the old guy!

Woman Bloodies 79-Year-Old Man With Stiletto Heel For Preaching On The Subway

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A 79-year-old man preaching from the Bible on a subway was left beaten and bloodied by a woman who allegedly attacked him with a high heel shoe.

The violent attack was captured on video by riders on board a southbound 2-train nearing Times Square on Oct. 24.

Police sources tell CBS2 the unidentified woman walked up and confronted the elderly rider, began to scream and curse at the man, and then took her spiked stiletto heel and assaulted the 79-year-old.

The attack was so brutal it left the man with a gash in his head that took 30 stitches to close the wound. The 79-year-old man was left a bloody mess as fellow riders sat and watched the attack.

“He didn’t say anything to hurt anyone, he wasn’t even loud, you could barely hear him talk but this is what he got in return,” said Instagram user @f.u.n.m.i.k.e, who recorded the vicious assault and injuries suffered by the 79-year-old.

Why it took so long for other people to come to his aid is mindboggling. Then again, it is the NYC subway.

So this woman cursed and screamed at the man and assaulted him with her shoe for preaching from his Bible? Talk about having hate for the Lord! One comment below the article referred to the woman as a "transgendered Lady" and mentioned that she threw his Bible away. I find it sad and pathetic that nobody stepped in to help the elderly man. I hope the police catch that violent, disturbed woman!

Some years ago, I was on a London tube train on the Victoria line. A lot of people got on the train at Victoria, including a group of black people. In the midst of them a man started singing. I soon realised he was singing hymns. As he started people began to move away from him looking embarased. Although the train was crowded, he had a large space arround him. He carried on singing. At Oxford Circus, most people got off the train and I could cee this black man with his hymnbook in his hand continued singing without stop. He had a very good voice. When I got off at the next station he was still sing, at that time, What a friend we have in Jesus. As I passed him I said "Thank you." He didn't stop singing but simply nodded.
