We have been dutifully involved with out 7th day adherents in another thread, so let's see where this one goes.
Now, our good friends religiously (no pun intended) keep to the 7th day of worship because they say it is part of God's law that is still in effect, but I have another law of His (God's) that I would like to hear how our friends (specifically 3rdAngel) see it. I am talking about circumcision, which is right up there next to the other old law of 7th day Sabbath keeping. Every Jewish male must be circumcised shortly after birth which is the unchangeable command from God for those who seek to be in His good graces.
So I have the following 2 questions for our friends.
1. Do you 7th Dayers believe that this mandate is still in effect for those who seek to properly worship Jehovah God, and that in order to be acceptable to Him (God) one must be circumcised?
2. If you do believe that circumcision is now not required for the believer, then what do you base that belief on and who and how was this most basic law for the believer in God done away with?
Thank you in advance.
