93% Muslims voted for Kerry

interesting since Bush seems to cater to them so much. after all, according to him we al have the same God. Of course Kerry belives this as well.

 

Why is that an absurd notion to you?

 

Muslims do not worship in spirit and in truth as Jesus said to do. Their idea of God is faulty.

 

I voted for Bush, but HATE the fact that he keeps repeating the idea that they worship the same God.

 

That's not all you hate.

Is it out of the question that God has good things in mind for those who choose to worship Him in a different way? Let's not be legalists here...

 

Hey, JesusandGeorge04, it is not legalism to follow the Bible. Jesus said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no salvation outside of Jesus. The Bible says so.

 

And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among me by which we must be saved.

 

A strict reading of John says so, while Paul speaks of God having other ways of knowing one's goodness and making judgements accordingly. Of course, that's not for us to decide, but let's not dictate what the Lord does with others, hmmm?

 

Just following what Jesus teaches us in The Book, JesusandGeorge04.

 

The Lord will do with others what he said in his word. They will fall into hell.

God did not sacrifice his son that men may spit upon him and still enter glory.

 

Since when have Muslims spit on Christ? They may not revere him as Lord, but they do respect him... not something that a merciful God would create needless suffering over!

 

Anyone who does not come to Jesus in repentance and faith is, in essence, spitting on His sacrifice for him, J&G.

 

Exactly Ken. God set Christ as the king over all creation. Those who refuse to bow their hearts in belief in Christ will have endless suffering, because Christ is worthly of endless praise.

God will glorify his own name above everything and everyone else. No one can reject Christ and get anything but justice.
