A big request

Wow, it's been over four years since I last logged in here. I hate to say that a sudden change in life has brought me back here and to Christ.

I guess that happens quite a bit.

Anyway, since I was last here my wife and I had our first child (he'll be 4 in October) and been through our share of ups-and-downs. All of that can be traced to completely ignoring God's call for our life/family.

Recently my wife informed me of her decision to move out and try a trial separation. This devastated me and it's been very tough on me. She's pretty unresponsive to anything right now and I'm trying to give her space, which is hard for me because I hate not having clarity on a situation.

Since I received this news (a couple of weeks ago), I've just really buried myself in the word and reigniting my relationship with Christ. That part of this journey has been awesome, it really has. But I'm still struggling with the possibility of losing my family. My wife really wants nothing to do with Church at the moment.

I'm praying that God will soften her heart and provide me with opportunities to shower her with love. I'm praying for the reconciliation of our family.

I would greatly appreciate if you remember my son, wife and I in your prayers.
