Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself here;
I was lost , guilty , and condemned and started to read a bible to make fun of it and ridicule christians. Jesus found me and the Spirit savingly drew me to Him enabling me to believe what I used to curse at.
God has an eternal purpose for His body the church Hebrews 12:22-24.I look forward to interacting with all in here.
You may or may not agree with what I post, but I will try to accurately understand your view and not argue against a straw man as that would not edify anyone. I will attempt to be faithful to the word of God as we interact together:type:
14Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

15And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

16Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.

17And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.

18Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.

Thanks for introducing yourself, I always appreciate that from new members.
I've already welcomed you when I responded to your very first post. But welcome again from KY. :)

...the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother. Gal 4:26

1 A Psalm of the sons of Korah; a Song. His foundation is in the holy mountains.
2 Jehovah loveth the gates of Zion More than all the dwellings of Jacob.
3 Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah
4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon as among them that know me: Behold, Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia: This one was born there.
5 Yea, of Zion it shall be said, This one and that one was born in her; And the Most High himself will establish her.
6 Jehovah will count, when he writeth up the peoples, This one was born there. Selah
7 They that sing as well as they that dance shall say, All my fountains are in thee. Ps 87
