A Little Good news

Jim, Good news is alway welcome. By the way I've enjoyed his songs for many years. Charlie Pride is ok with me and shows a touch of class.

Always the gentleman! On another occasion, whilst entertaining in northern Alberta, he heard a young girl singing before his show, and invited her to sing with him at that show, and then asked her parents to allow her to travel with his staff for other shows that summer.

I have always liked him, on and off the stage. I would like to know what his religious views are. I bet he would answer if someone wrote.

Cheers,

Jim

He just has such a smooth & mellow voice that is very listenable; ear candy if you will!

He has always come across to me as just a plain good ole country boy as opposed to some of the "rock & roll in blue jeans" types that seem to dominate country music anymore. (Least what is CALLED country music)

Needless to say I'm a Jim Reeves/Ernie Ford/Hank Williams etc type country music lover.

Humanly speaking, Jim Reeves life was cut short. He was a dedicated believer in Christ and spread the gospel as he went along.

They are my kind of singers. At least you can understand what they are singing.

Cheers,

Jim
