Wow, someone on here knows al Qaeda's strategy! How do you know that? Are you a member?

 

After hearing Cheney talk before the war about the WMD's in Iraq and about the American soldiers being greeted as liberators, it's hard to believe anything he says.

Whether or not Dick Cheney has no heart, whether or not the administration was wrong about WMD's still being in Iraq in 2002, whether or not they made serious mistakes in conducting the war doesn't mean that Cheney is wrong about the strategy of Al Qaida. All terrorists organizations use the strategy of breaking the will of whatever government or people they aim to overthrow or defeat. That is a valid and basic premise about Al Qaida - it would be correct if it was stated by Ted Kennedy and it is correct as it was stated by Dick Cheney. Bruce

Breaking the will of the American people and Ted Kennedy have nothing to do with the constant miscalculations of Cheney. How many lives has Cheney lost to a lack of common sense and and ineptness. This has nothing to do with liberal and conservative. I am probably more conservative than most here. It has to do with competence.

There are very few men as leaderless as this one. He couldnt lead his mother to go out to eat with him. Guess why he isnt running for President? He is unelectable. He would not have a chance at the nomination.

As far as God blessing Cheney, it seems He has, with all his wealth, which is what drives this guy. Here is a guy who never lifted a hand to serve this nation and now expects others to enter harm's way at the direction of his warped mind.

Now, all of you go back to the tired old argument of Democrat vs Republican. Go back and forth and tell us all who is more evil, Cheney or Pelosi. They and the rest of the politicians in these two parties are crooked as a three dollar bill. Wake up people. We can do better than argue evil vs evil.

 

Are you and I in the same discussion? I have absolutely no idea of what you are talking about in regard to my post. I am commenting on the correctness of the VP's statement - nothing else about him, nothing about liberal vs. conservative, nothing about Democrat vs Republican, nothing about how conservative you or I may be, etc. His statement is correct, as it would also be if someone from the opposite point of view stated it. I am a registered Republican. I voted for Nixon, Bush once, Reagan twice, Dole, and Bush twice. You totally miss the point. The fact is your defense of Bush and Cheney shows have much you miss the conservative mark, so it is impossible to catagorize you. You are so blinded by truth when it is hitting you up side the head, you dont even recognize it. Dig up Mr Faulkner, and talk to him.

 

We agree on that. At least in our disagreement, I can follow your logic. PS 104 whatever, sways like the wind. The only thing he follows is the Republican line, even when it is not conservative.
