I guess what the Bible actually lists as sins is not good enough, without adding a few more, huh?? Sad! :tear:

I have never heard of a divorced pastor. For a pastor to divorce his wife or vice versa would show that there was something wrong in their relationship. I don't think a person who has been divorced should be a pastor.

At the same time, while I have never been to a church where the pastor was single, I wouldn't see a problem with that. As long as he is not a womanizer & is straight.

I'd say that they are not. An act of disobedience? Maybe but not a YOU'RE GOING TO HELL type deal.

Not sure what you mean, but all sins are "going to hell" sins since all sins separate us from God and only forgiveness through Christ (of all sins) enables us to be with God.

I know the question was whether these are sins or not, but I voted for 2 though I would not necessarily call them sins.

I've posted before on the BB how Baptists seem so hung up on categorizing something as a sin or not. I don't know why this is. Whether something is a sin or not is not all that should concern us -- Paul said that all things are allowed but that not all things are edifying.

Some things may not be strictly sins but they are still not in line with biblical principles or biblical living.
