A New Year's resolution? What will be your priority in 2016?

Funny, but I know so many folks that make resolutions every year, and the first thing broken after the New Year is not the toy they received as a present, but rather the resolution! If you are into resolutions, what will yours be, and more importantly, how long do you hope to maintain it (based on past resolutions)?

If you have a "resolution" in mind that you need to start, or stop, doing, why are you waiting for a trendy day to get started? If we really mean that resolution, we wouldn't wait.

I make the same resolution every year...Not to make any resolutions. That way I don't feel bad when I would end up breaking it.

I think Alcott has the right idea.

I think the only resolution I kept this yer (only made 2) was to lose weight. I've gone from 243 at the beginning of the year to 201.4 as of this past Monday. I think the only resolution I will make for 2016 is to see my church attendance greatly increase. I missed way too many Saturday evenings or Sunday mornings due to health and personal issues.

My yearly resolution is always the same as it's what I was commissioned to do:

18 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in" the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Mat. 28:18-20

Congratulations on the weight loss! That is a lot, and losing it is never easy. As for seeing an increase in church attendance, I will stand in agreement with you for His favor, like with Jabez, to increase your territory.
