Adopting a religion or a belief is purely a matter of the heart. It is a feeling, such as love, hatred, happiness and sadness. Then, the mind starts to ask the heart about this religion and its grounds. The heart will direct the mind to religious terms, holy books and words of the prophets. The mind will start to review those sources, logically trying to understand the religion the heart believes in.
Religion is all about rules and principles that shape the belief system in the heart. When the mind determines the rules and principles the heart believes in, it will take the risk of how to apply them to other human beings.
Applying a religious belief to other human beings can lead to a collision between people’s minds. Everyone has their own beliefs and feelings, as other religious doctrines may vary based on their different whims, not their reasons.
