A question about Tyler Robinson

Pardon my jumping in here, but I have to ask an ignorant question and I don't know where to go.

I've watched the video several times of Tyler Robinson jumping off the building after shooting Charlie Kirk. I don't know a lot about weapons and again, pardon my ignorance.

Where was the rifle when he jumped off the building?

I'm NOT saying he didn't kill Charlie. I'm NOT saying he doesn't deserve the death penalty. I'm just saying I can't see the weapon when he is on the roof.

I know some guns are "foldable" if that's the right word. Running across the roof, climbing and jumping down, and running across the parking lot, there was nothing down his pants leg like there appeared to be when he was walking down the subdivision.

Was it in his back pack? If it was "foldable" why did he put it back together before he wrapped it up and hid it? I know nothing about these kinds of weapons and the curiosity is getting the best of me.

One report stated he had put the weapon inside his clothing - apparently his pant leg - (it was reported he had a slight limp)
Do did he put it back in his pant leg to conceal it as he made is get-a-way -

This was not foldable.

The image is not great but every one is questioning this point.
Over his head about the two o’clock position is a straight black mass that in my opinion can be explained by the rifle. It is only shown in one frame of the video that I was looking at. There are a couple other possibilities but if you slow down the video and walk it through as slowly as possible there are a couple of options to id something being carried.
He also picks up something from the ground before he leaves the building area.
The roof is reflecting a lot of light so it is not surprising to not be able to see it very well while he is on the roof. Light pollution. It is the same idea as why you can’t see stars in the sky during the day. The light from the roof is overpowering to a degree. On the ground you have the same effect with shadows underneath an already over bright roof.

As another example, he is standing there but his legs make him look like a stick figure. It is not because his legs are not there, it is light pollution.
Without knowing how it looked wrapped up in a towel (because that is what is reported) it probably would have been about the size of his legs and probably smaller. The bulk of it would be next to his own mass and the narrow portion barely visible.

Can’t help you much. They make a take down 98 Mauser. The Mauser in the picture released was not a takedown 98. It can not be folded or broken down. I am not even sure the rifle in the picture released is a Mauser. I have gotten to point I don’t trust the Government at all.
