A sobering sight in Lebenon

Before the mid-1970's Lebanon was a beautiful country that was a great place to vacation.

But since then. :tear:

 

Prayers should be going up to heaven that this situation gets under control. If Iran and Syria get involved, there is no telling where this will end up. Israel and the Muslim countries will be enemies until the end of time, and no amount of American tax money or diplomacy will change that.

 

Lebanon used to be a Christian country.

What has happened there, has been a travesty. Jews and Muslims have destroyed that country. Christianity is being driven out of all countries in the Middle East northern Africa, and eastern Africa.

 

Very good point. While I think our country should support Israel, we must remember that if there were no Muslims, Israel would have no use for Christianity. There are many times when the United States and Israel's national interest do not parallel.

 

We should support Israel, or any country, when it is in our national interest to do so. If Israel's, or any country's, interest runs counter to ours, then we must oppose Israel, or any country.
