    Good day to all,

Our Sunday School class has just finished a study in Revelation, and we're going to start a study in Romans in two weeks.

I was hoping some of you might suggest by title or author if you have a Romans study guide that you feel is helpful, insightful, etc. Something possibly that we could find a few different guides and read through them, and choose which one we want to use for our study?

    Thanks,
    Woody

There are many out there that are good, a free one available for download may be found at Bible.org it is entitled "Romans: The Righteousness of God" It is very detailed and well written for a free resource.

I use a copy of "The Letter to the Romans" by William Barclay (it is subtitled The New Daily Study Bible and is published by WJK Books. I think it would be helpful to the teacher.

The series that we used for Revelation, was by John MacArthur. It was a pretty good study, a lot of questions for comments and discussion.

I'm just looking for others, to see what else might be available.

John MacArthur has books on every book of the Bible. I would love to have them all. That would be a bit pricy, though.

Watchman Nee deals with Romans in his book entitled 'The Normal Christian Life.' It was a real blessing to me.

I recently taught Romans using MacArthur's study guide. It was great.

I also had Mac's two volume commentary, which helped immensely in teaching the class.
I was able to teach very knowledgably with the help of his two volume set.

While the commentaries are pricey, the study guides themselves are very reasonable.
