A US Senator wins due to Gerrymandering

I found an article about the nomination of the current SCOUS nominee:

I make a point of never listening to anything Senator Marsha Blackburn says. It galls me that she represents Tennessee. Let’s be clear here, she doesn’t represent the Tennessee of Dolly Parton. Blackburn is actually from Mississippi, who was elected to her seat primarily as a result of redistricting (read gerrymandering).

So what is your first thought about this statement?

This the link for the article: Amy Coney Barrett: A Role Model? Really?

Karen Spears Zacharias has 2 errors in her article.

1. Tennessee was not gerrymandered. She may have been talking about an earlier Congressional seat that Blackburn held before becoming Senator.

2. There is no Greenlawn, Indiana. Trinity School is located on Greenlawn Ave. in South Bend, where Notre Dame University is located.

Considering Omar's ties to terrorism it is difficult to understand the author's admiration for her. I should like to ask her if it is true that Islam is right about women.

Sportzz Fanzz, the Dems have NO right to talk about gerrymandering ! Just look at Pelosi's & AOC's districts' boundary lines ! (BTW, Elbridge Gerry,{1744-1814} after whom gerrymandering was named, was a DEMOCRAT, of the old Democrat-Republican party)

My first thought? US senate seats are statewide elections. Gerrymandering of house seats wouldn’t effect a state wide election.

I make a point never to listen to someone so ignorant of the process.

peace to you

I don’t know who this person is, beside being a raging liberal, but that was a complete waste of time, & who cares about her ‘statement’. How long has Blackburn held the seat? And this whack is still bitter? Yup, they are always bitter. Blackburn has served Tennessee in the US House from 2003-19. Now she serves in the Senate. What a carpet bagger. Oh wait, that was Hillary.

Well, ACB is going to be confirmed tomorrow, Karen and Marsha DOES represent Tennesseans, even those of :"Dolly Parton". Check it out, her cover photo is a picture of Biden/Harris:

Words matter. You are not "pro-life" if you support unregulated access to firearms; if you support the physical separation of immigrant children from their parents; if you refuse to wear a mask during a global pandemic; if you fuel the flames of White Nationalism; and if you deny the systemic racism the permeates our law enforcement and judicial systems; and if you deny healthcare to millions of Americans over a policy issue; and if you refuse to believe the science on global warming. What you are is "anti-choice", but you are most definitely not "pro-life".

LOL, so this is where the Karen meme came from -enjoy the election, sweetheart.

She says her favorite quote is, "Writing is not my hobby." May apply, but idiotically ranting would be closer to what she does.

She also says, "Haters will be blocked." Does this mean she's blocked herself? LOL.

I Liked the OP, because the link is so rich with the idiotic blind hypocrisy steeped in ignorance, which the Dems have come to epitomize.

Thanks for he laugh, S.; and for the Facebook link, 777. :Thumbsup

Make no mistake. This Karen is bitter in general. She's not a Tennessean and even her contacts there may not be.

The Dems are bitter against anyone who would stand in their way of absolute, unlimited power, or the evil they are so desperate to perpetrate with it.

ACB is undoubtedly one of those people who will now sit in a very powerful seat in judgment against them. They are quite naturally unhinged.
