Would you buy a house where a murder had taken place?

Are there any other situations that would cause you not to purchase or live in a home?

A lady is suing over this

    1. Yes, I'd buy a murder house.

    2. I don't think so.

    Yep.

Yep. A house that regularly floods. A house on a main road or is near a large commercial area. A house that has major structural issues or dangerous building materials (asbestos). You know, things like that. :)

Think very hard about that. I have been known to have BBQ's with my neighbors and help them with yard work. Sometimes, we even chat over a cold beer on a hot day. Watch out, that kind of social behavior is just crazy.

I do have root beer too. Also, good sweet tea (I married a Southern gal).

In NZ a fire will often accidentally occur in a house where there has been a murder. This is a cultural thing for some groups of folks.

I would prefer NOT to buy a house where a murder has happened, but when I buy a house, it is blessed by a priest, so it is a cleansing in a spiritual sense.

When I nursed, we tried very hard to have a bed where someone had died to be unoccupied for 24hrs. Many people believe the departed "hangs around" the space so to speak, whilst others felt it a mark of respect for the
    departed.

The accountants saw it as money not being made!

I absolutely agree about flooding etc, for the simple reason of insurance premiums. I suspect my house may have asbestos....just about every older house in Wanganui has.
