John 1:3, "All things were made by him; In other words the Word, that is the Son of God, being solely the uncaused Cause fully on behalf God the Father, Ephiesians 3:9, ". . .God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: . . ."
Colossians 1:16-17, ". . . all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. . . ." Hebrews 1:3, ". . . upholding all things by the word of his power, . . ."

Again John 1:3, ". . . and without him was not any thing made that was made." The Son of God is fully the uncaused Cause on behalf of God the Father. Being the sole cause of all things caused by God being God.

The definition of Logos that I like is "that which accomplishes God's purpose.

Hmm. In every usage? ". . . ο λογος . . . ." Your argument does not make good sense to me. But could be right. I need to check my exhaustive New Testament Greek concordance. I do not have time to do that as of right now. Have you done this?

I did not mean to imply the only meaning of logos refers to that which accomplishes God's purpose, but only where God's logos is presented in the text.

John 1:1, John 1:14 1 John 1:1, Revelation 19:13.

Consider where Gentiles are said to have received the word of God. Is the idea that they understood and accepted the gospel message, or they were saved according to God's purpose?

Consider John 5:38, is the idea the message of the gospel abides or the "Spirit of Christ" abides?
