After November 2

After this bitter, bitter election is over, will we pull together as nation and work together to solve our problems?

Or we will continue to descend deeper and deeper into political civil war and our national problems just get worse and worse?

Personally, I am not optimistic, regardless of who wins on November 2.

The Bush-bashers and haters will never be content until he is out of the White House, so my thought is that this will go on for another 4 years.

What about the Kerry-haters? One party cannot carry out its agenda without assistance from the other party. That's why so many problems are festering in this nation.

The two major parties must understand that they must hang together, or they will certainly hang separately.

Hopefully out of the ashes, the Constitution Party will rise. But, the more probable scenario is the Demopublicans will continue to drive us into debt, continue the godless slaughter of our unborn citizens, continue to have our troops spread all over the globe, while failing to defend our own borders and Free World Trade will grow stronger as we erode into a third world country - a sad legacy to leave to our grandchildren, should we not get blown off the map before then.

On the bright side, Jesus may come.

Kerry will be marginally better in that he puts Americans ahead of Iraqis, and he might do something about the economic mess.

But with a GOP congress, not much will change.

I have seen bumper stickers that say "Defeat Bush AGAIN in '04" The Dems just cannot accept the truth (sounds like a true liberal). When Bush wins again (both the popular and electoral vote) next month, they will find some excuse as to why it was not a valid election.
Lets see, maybe they will say that seniors who live up North (summer), out West (Fall), go on a Cruise (Spring) and down South (winter) did not get to vote four times.
Anybody else like to make a prediction what the Dems excuse will be:

I heard a portion of a news report saying the Democrats have already begun lawsuits in Fla. and if the outcome of the votes there isn't either pro Kerry or vastly pro Bush, they'll challenge the results.

Sounds like they expect to lose already.

The last poll in Fla?

I find it interesting that so many of the polls concentrate on the popular vote. 48%-46% doesn't mean a whole lot unless you look at the electoral college.

After the last election, I would have thought more attention would have been paid to the electoral college. At a chart I was looking at yesterday, it appeared that Kerry still had the advantage in the electoral college...however, lots can change in two weeks.

Still, it would be ironic if the results flip-flopped this time.

Up until a few days ago, Kerry didn't have enough electoral votes to beat Bush.

Last few days, the polls have been falling his way, though, and he had as of this morning, about 280. Needs 270.

But what it will be like on election day is still not clear.

If Bush has Osama bundled up somewhere, now's the time to bring him out.
