After the deception then what?

    Dear friends of the TRUTH.

After spending 47 years in religions of deception. Father Yahweh in His awesome, wonderful, loving mercy opened my eyes to His plan for my life.
Words fail to tell of the great secrets found in the Holy Scriptures when The Heavenly Father gives you His Holy Spirit and leads you into all truth.
Here is a great secret if you have eyes to see.
The wonderful and Holy Name of Yahweh was removed from the very Scriptures He inspired to be written
    to bring us to salvation.
This righteous Name and all its glory was replaced by title of Gods and Lords.

May the Holy Spirit that raised the Real Messiah from the dead bless your understanding in your search of the TRUTH!

If you would like to know more come our web site.

You know, when I look at a new website, the first thing I look for is a statement of doctrine. Every reputable and straight Christian website has one.

    Yours does not

To me that speaks of cult.

You may be interested to know that "Yahweh" is an Anglicized version of the Tetragrammaton YHWH, which is essentially reference to the Hebrew verb "to be," as found in the phrase "I AM that which I AM" and implies both the past and present continuing tenses.

When Jesus identified Himself with this phrase in the Greek, "Ego eimi," the Pharisees attempted to kill him for what they perceived as blasphemy. Note that Jesus did NOT say "Yahweh," but "ego eimi."

The point is NOT the individual word, but the identity and character of the God and Creator of the universe. To try to zero in on a variation of a name which is not even in its original language is a bit strange, I think.

They are a cult. They have a compound in Abilene, Texas (I've seen the walls of the compound and the main entrance) and hold to some strange endtimes doctrines:

They seem to be something like the Branch Davidians.

Wow! Are you sure this is where this person
    comes from?

I am Messsianic, but we would never call our
God "Yahweh." That really surprised me. Guess
I*ll look at the site he recommends.

    Bugman --

To whom is your note above?

    Bugman --

Please forgive me for jumping to conclusions; I
see now why you wrote your post. I have been
just waiting for someone to challenge my pre-
sence here, and that colored my perception of
    what you were saying.

    I apologize.

Is being apart of a cult and trying to "win" converts enough to get you booted from Baptist Board? Just thought I would ask?!?!?

    How come?</font>[/QUOTE]8o) Because I don't attend a Baptist church,
but I attend a Messianic synagogue whose pastor
was Baptist bred and Baptist schooled, but
whose heart was for his people--the Jews. I
have been on pins and needles about that. (We
have two pastors, and the other was apparently
from a similar background, but he never talks
about it as the first pastor does.)

Also, I misunderstood some things when I
signed on here, but the moderators have been
    very gracious about it.

My synagogue has nothing to do with the site
here, and I would hate to be, in any way, asso-
ciated with it. I have wanted so much to just
give my synagogue's site and get it over with,
but I do not feel safe listing anything more than
I already have for personal information. (I have
    had some email trouble.)

But there--I said it. 8o) Maybe Ii can relax a
    little.
