The United Nations Agenda 21 was signed by the United States in 1992 and 14 years later, people are still in the dark. If you were to ask at random the question, "Have you heard of Agenda 21?" the answer would be an over-whelming "No," although it is being implemented in every local community.
Agenda 21 is a 40 chapter document listing goals to be achieved globally. It is the global plan to change the way we "live, eat, learn and communicate" because we must "save the earth."
"Its regulation would severely limit water, electricity, and transportation - even deny human access to our most treasured wilderness areas, it would monitor all lands and people. No one would be free from the watchful eye of the new global tracking and information system," according to Berit Kjos, author of Brave New Schools.

Maurice Strong, Secretary-general of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro said, "...[C]urrent lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class - involving high meat consumption and large amounts of frozen and convenience foods, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and workplace air-conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable. A shift is necessary which will require a vast strengthening of the multilateral system, including the United Nations.
In other words, the Global plan is for us to live on the level of third world nations. That means no box mixes or microwave meals, limited use of fuel of any kind, no air-conditioning and very little meat. When the cost of freon skyrocketed, when mad cow disease hit, the National Animal Identification System introduced, the price of fuel soared, it has become apparent that given time, these sustainable controls will be put into place - one way or another - and the Global Governance is powerful. Hey, if nobody will talk about my book
REPORT FROM IRON MOUNTAIN
ON THE POSSIBILITY AND DESIRABILITY OF PEACE

(Dial Press, 1967)
then
I ain't gonna talk about no Agenda 21

That book talked about the undesirability to the
economy if peace replaced the cold war.
What does Agenda 21 talk about. I can't find out
real quick, wonder if i could really find out surfing the
conspirace sites?

Kinda scary, that one, if true. My problem with newswithviews is that I once posted an article about law enforcement officials being beheaded which was presented as if it happened within the confines of the US and as it turned out El Guerro posted that it really happened in Mexico.

So, I take most of what they say along these lines with a ladleful of salt.

As you should imho. If you are looking for one place or person that has all the answers I'm afraid you'll end up being disappointed. Here's the website of a woman that has been going to all the UN and WEFORUM conferences for a number of years, http://www.womensgroup.org/ she is the author of the article you just read. There will of course be any number of people popping into this thread to tell you how this woman is a "conspiracy theorist" or her's is a "conspiracy site". The question is do you think your country and way of life is worth looking deeper into the rabbit hole, or are you going to be talked into ignoring information that may be important on the grounds of what others that can't be bothered to look at it think?

Has anyone seen this Agenda 21 affect them locally? I haven't seen any evidence of it around here.

By the way, since there is an Agenda 21, was there an Agenda 1, Agenda 2, Agenda 3, etc.?

Interesting, poncho. But has anything actually ever been implemented in the real world, not just theoretically?

Does anybody remember back in the 70's when a piece of paper was circulated that said something to the effect of "The Goals of Communism" and it had a list of ten items such as "Get Americans interested in sports so they won't know the communists are taking over"?

It was poorly written and turned out to be a complete fraud. In fact, there are so many frauds put out by people trying to push their little theories that you never know what is real and what is not.

Usually, you can tell what is real by how much common sense it makes.

This makes about as much sense as the belief that explosives were used on the World Trade Towers to coincide exactly with the plane crashes.

Why do people like this kind of stuff? Are they not satisfied that their Christianity can take care of them and there is no need to worry about worldly politics? Doesn't the Bible talk about how our mind should be on eternity and not this world?

I was a conspiracy theorist for 35 years.
I've known more qualified conspiracy exposers than
most people ever thought about.

Back 15-20 years ago when I had my Ed's Conspiracy Analysis Number (e-CAN),
/or whatever :) / part of the number was HOW LIKELY IS IT THAT THE
CONSPIRACY CAN BE IMPLIMENTED? Most conspiracies are
very low.

(One exception was the Christian Conspiracy, but it took over 300
years to take over the Roman Empire. Another exception was the 3rd World
Socialist Meeting, AKA: Communists, which was designed for the industrial
countries but took over only emerging countries, of which
two the three largest countries in the world /Russia & China/
was included. This took only about 54 years /1898-1952/. )

I like the book entitled "The Coming Battle" myself. That one was written in 1899. It can be read online here. http://www.mega.nu:8080/ampp/comingbattle/cbtabcon.htm

Um, yeah Ken. Type "public private partnerships" into a search engine. Take a look into the Texas toll roads and Cintra, or how Indiana roads have been leased to a foreign country, Australia. Or how our ports are being run by other countries, like communist China...google COSCO. Check out the Nature Conservancy and how they are using sustainable development to grab up land, and the UN World Heritage sites, we don't even own most of our national parks anymore. America is being auctioned off at wholesale prices and being given away. How about emminent domain and New London? What about Lou Dobbs and Jerome Corsi revealing how the North American Union is being implemented along with the NAFTA super highway, construction has already begun in Texas.

Better yet read the actual documents (below) for yourself then do some follow up work and find out for your own self how much has already been implemented in the real world and how it's being done.

Agenda 21 is the foundation of Elvis sightings, UFO sightings, black helocopters, Big Foot, Nessie, Kennedy in the White House basement, and no, we didnt land on the moon. Its a conspriacy I tell ya.

Most 21 year olds do have an agenda.

Looks like you have finally reached the outer limits of feable excuses making claims like this. What's next, the United Nations doesn't even exist? Guess I'll go change my shirt now that I was forced to spit my coffee down the front of it when reading this post.

Lets talk about reality and those who do not recognize it. Lets see, the UN, has been in existence since 1945 and for 60+ years has not accomplished one thing it set out to do, has passed resolution after resolution and has not solved one problem, in fact, caused them. If you want recent history, try resolution 1559, because of their lack of enforcement of that resolution, over 1000 innocent Lebanese are dead, along with lots of Israelis. Now, if this is your idea of reality, then hop back in your UFO, take a trip to Pluto, so that the government does not tap your phone.
