    Been listening to some David Crowder have we?? [​IMG]

    We've been doing this one in church for a couple of months now, with just two accoustic guitars and two vocalist. It is an awesome song and our folks love it. (We do it a lot like the David Crowder Band)

    I love that song. When you think about all the things that are created by God, it staggers the imagination. One of my hobbies is astronomy. When I pull out the scope to look at the planets, that is the exact thought that goes through my mind. We worry about this and that, and all the time we are in the care of a loving God who can create all this. I think if He can do that, He can take care of us, its a matter of living that way and not just saying it.

    [​IMG] Just for the record David Crowder is the worship leader at a Baptist church in Texas. Actually it is the church that lost their pastor in a baptism accident.

    I suppose if I wanted to be nitpicky, I could take issue with those lines. However, I'm not in a nitpicky mood. I love that song, and most of Crowder's stuff that I've heard.

    ==Sorry to disappoint but I am not familiar with The David Crowder Band. However I will check them out. I actually enjoy listening to some of the old hymns. I have about five cds full of them (and four tapes).

    One of my favorite cds is a hard rock type version of several old hymns. Great versions of songs like "O Worship The King", "How Great Thou Art", and my favorite "Doxology". You can listen to some samples on the Amazon.com page... Here

    I also have two of John MacArthur's cds.."What Wondrous Love Is This" and "O Worship The King". Great cds btw. Mostly piano and the Master's choir with MacArthur, Joni Eareckson Tada, and Robert & Bobbie Wolemuth.

    When I posted the post (above) I was listening to an organ hymns cd I purchased from Walmart. :D

    I will check out the David Crowder band though.

    ==Amen to that! That is one of the reasons I have often thought about buying a good telescope. Around this part of the woods I can go outside at night and the stars are just amazing. I have thought it would be neat to purchase a telescope for those nights. Sadly I only have that desire when I am looking at the night sky, the rest of the time I have little interest in buying a telescope. [​IMG]
