44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.
1. How many will be taught of God? Answer: "all" Hence this is a QUALFIED "all" - furthmore this is a direct quote from Isaiah where the "all" is further QUALFIED to be compose only of God's "children."
Isa 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Other "prophet's" teach the same thing (Jer. 31:34; Ezek. 36:26-27; etc.) but no other prophet uses these exact words but Isaiah.
2. The words "every man" represent the exact same Greek word translated "all" in the same verse.
3. Who is "every man"? ANSWER: they are those who hear and learn of the Father = "taught"
4. How many that "hear and learn" come to Christ? ANSWER: "every man" or "all" who are taught.
Furthermore, verse 45 is explanatory of what it means for God to "draw" someone to Christ. Therefore "him" drawn is "him" that cometh which is "ALL" who are taught which equals "every man" hearing and learning. Hence, this is not merely an EXTERNAL gospel call, but an INTERNAL work of God that always results in coming to Christ in faith as "All" are QUALIFIED as those taught by God and "all" is QUALIFIED as "every man" hearing and learning and "every man" hearing and learning does not fail to come to Christ in faith.
If a man does not hear and learn he is not part of the qualified "all" who are "taught of God" because it is impossible to be taught by anyone without hearing and learning as that is what constitutes TEACHING.
So "all" EQUALS "every man" which EQUALS "all" taught of God which EQUALS "him" that cometh to Christ because "every man" so taught comes.
Again, indisputable evidence for OSAS
