I would assume by the way everyone but myself are posting you all are only concerned with regeneration in Titus 3:5 and or John 3 if it applies to regeneration.

Being Titus 3 says, he saved us and Ephesians 2:8 says, are ye saved, and there is only way that we can be saved. Do not both of these verses have to say the very exact same thing?

I say they have to.

Washing of regeneration. Let me ask would the washing be effective without the regeneration? Could be said this way washing by regeneration.

Now can this be construed as washing? 1 John 1:7 and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. Is the preceding speaking of this Isaiah 53:12 because he hath poured out his soul unto death:

So the washing is the death of Jesus Christ. But we are saved by the washing of regeneration. Jesus had to be regenerated for the washing to be affective. Paul said it this way. 1 Cor.15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.

Now you should be able to see how this verse says the same as Titus 3:5 and that is Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,(Washed in his blood) much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.(By his resurrected/regenerated life)

Back to Ephesians 2. That means through faith means the same thing as washing of regeneration.

Which means that it is by The faith of Jesus that you are saved.

Also regeneration means the very same thing in Matthew 19:28 as in Titus 3:5.

Of course there is an (and) following regeneration in Titus 3:5.

Pretend that you believe that in ETERNAL salvation, God DEMANDS nothing from his child. Nothing AT ALL. Like somebody said, and to which I agree, if God KNOWS from eternity past that fallen man is INCAPABLE of faith, then why must He demand it from him ?

However, IF God gives His child the gift of faith, after regenerating him, then He has EVERY RIGHT to demand it of him.

Either way, it is grace, whether Eternal salvation or Time Salvation. Eternal salvation is ALL OF THE LORD, none from man. And for the Lord to give man the gift of faith and grant him repentance whereby he can believe and turn from his idols to the living God and thus be saved from false doctrines and untoward generations in this time world, it is STILL grace, because NEITHER are deserved by the sinner.

I am not asking you to believe what I believe, just try to picture in your mind what I am trying to say.

No.1 I believe salvation IS ALL OF THE LORD.

Would you agree that both of these verses have to say the very exact same thing? That is Titus 3:5 and Eph. 2:8 and that Romans 5:10 says the exact same thing all in different words?

The original of this post #1 came from the post on regeneration where I tried maybe in vain to show that regeneration in Titus 3:5 was done to Christ and that is how out salvation comes about rather than it being our regeneration. The other tine the word regeneration is used is in Matthew 19:28 would be our regeneration because we would then be in his image

Do you think the following could be construed as regeneration?

I would say that if he poured out his soul unto death he would need to be regenerated. Is Hades associated with the living or the dead. Speaking of the resurrection of Christ that his soul was not left in Hades Acts 2:31.

Think about this verse. Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. What life do you think is meant here? When he was born of Mary or when he was raised from the dead. Compare Romans 5:10 to this verse before answering, 1 Cor. 15:13,17,18 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not raised, your faith [is] vain; ye are yet in your sins.Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

It is the regenerated life of the Word made flesh that gives us life.
Through his death we are cleansed in his blood and through his regeneration we shall be saved. By the way he also received the renewal of the Holy Spirit. See Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. Notice after receiving it he sheds it forth same as in Titus 3:6. This is actually the promise made to Abraham and his seed.
