Turning Stone, in Upstate NY is reopening its All-you-can-eat-buffet.
there will be Seven Cuisines Stations (Mexican, Italian, seafood, antipasto, salads, dim sum and desserts)

Cost will be $38 dollars for adults - $18.95 for kids (+ tax)

Would you pay that much for a buffet?

It would depend on the quality of seafood.

I have eaten there before the Chinese Virus hit (and ultimate closed)
but the cost was much less.

No way, will I pay $38 for a buffet - unless it was for all day long!

$38 buck is rather pricey - probably not.

My choice…
Shady Maple smorgasbord in Lancaster PA - $22 all-you-can-eat dinner
The food selection is as long as a football field with an additional three stations of freshly cooked meats.
(Meals are free on your birthday)

My goal is to not hurt when I leave the table.

Prices are up everywhere, thanks to the Great Steal, and there is no end in sight. Have you seen prices at the grocers'?

Here in the West Midlands, England, there is a shopping mall 10 minutes walk from my home. They have a All-you-can-eat-buffet, for about £8 lunch, and £16 dinner. There must be at least 60
----------------- Lunch = about 10.50 ---- Supper= about $21
different choices, including made to order pizza!l

Reminds me of a comedian I saw (Louie Anderson?) that weighed about 400lbs telling the story of loosing $500 at a casino in about 15 minutes. Then going to the buffet and saying to himself, “we’ll see who comes out ahead on this one!”

peace to you

No, I wouldn’t pay that much. One of my nicknames in the army was “cheap Charlie”, given to me by the owner of a Korea bar.

peace to you

My employer recently sent me on a business trip to Nevada.
The hotel they had me stay at had a very popular buffet.
The price of the buffet was $46.99 per person.
And the lines for the buffet were very long.
No one complained about the price of the buffet.
The cost of living in much of the Western United States is extremely high!
The cost of the buffet is a typical example of that.

I attend a monthly pastors meeting -
We meet at a buffet restaurant - $12 a person at lunch time
At that Buffet - Supper is about $20

Used to go to that other buffet - but no more!
