Okay, everyone get with it and spell "altar" right when you are referring to an altar in a church. It's not an "alter."

    :tongue3:

I would like to alter the altar so that the altar is altered to face the east, or is that East? Cos when we refer to the South we say South unless we are just going south. Thinking about it, East could be altered to facing east in the sense that is going east spiritually. Wait that really is East. Good night, Mrs Calabash, wherever you are.

    Cheers,

    Jim, Esq

"There's many" should be : There are many.

Salty, I can't argue with the truth of Mrs. Calabash. I never heard where he disclosed who she was..

    Makes sense.

    Cheers,

    Jim

As I just mentioned in another post, the list goes on and on with improper spelling, punctuation, and grammar mistakes. I often see "dose" in place of "does". I have many typos I make, but I proofread before and after posting. I never cease to be amazed at how many people don't use an apostrophe or capitalize "I'm" and other such words. I make good use of the "edit" feature.

My poor fingers make the same stumbles when I edit. Glad I am not still in seminary where we lost a mark for each spelling error and a mark for each grammatical error. They even had the rule that is English we had to use English spelling. If American, they had to use American spelling and grammar.

    Cheers,

    Jim

Sometimes, I see something and I just gotta respond before I lose the thought and I don't have time to read back over it - kids coming in, gotta run . . . ack, I've embarrassed myself with errors before.
