Am I a Prophet?...an Apostle?

In the spring/summer of 2003, I experienced the following;

1) I went to God in very serious prayer. A voice answered my prayer. It was God. He let me know, that it was He that spoke.

2) Several months later, I re-lived my carnal birth, in a vision.

3) Approximately one month later, I experienced Numbers 12:6 [John 14:21 also?]

3(a) In the vision, I stood before The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost. I was not allowed to see either The Father or The Holy Ghost, but their presence was made known to me. The Father 'controlled' the vision. Two 'identical' figures appeared, dressed in white robes. I recognized Christ, but was confused by the second figure, on whose right that He stood. It was Jesus, as The Lord God Almighty...our Father in heaven. The Son as The Lord God Almighty, is The Son of The Father. The Son as Christ, is The Son [Son of Man] of Himself [My Father and I are one], in the same way, that we can become sons/daughters of God.

3(b) In the dream that followed, many things were shown to me. I spent six and a half years reading scriptures, searching history/religions, communicating with ministers of all 'one-god' faiths, and visiting many Protestant churches. In the dream, I was told that 'there was something broken', and I volunteered to 'fix' that which was broken. The 'figure' in the dream asked me if I thought that I could handle it. I said, "Yes." I was awakened, and using my thoughts, I was told to write the dream down. God was referring to the different 'bibles' that have been created, and are leading His sheep astray. He did not 'anoint' anyone, in order to create these 'bibles'.

I was afraid that it was satan who was trying to make me into a 'false prophet'. I went to God in prayer. He told me that satan cannot 'reproduce' Numbers 12:6, because if he could, then Numbers 12:6 would mean nothing.

I went to God in prayer again, and asked Him, "who or what, am I?" He replied immediately, using my thoughts, and told me, "I am who I am."

I only have one 'job' to do. Get rid of these other 'bibles'! I have no prophesy powers. I cannot speak in multiple languages. I cannot perform miracles. :jesus:

No you are not a prophet or an apostle but a deceived man who has been beguiled by Satan into thinking what you saw was of God. Satan's prophets claim visions as well. There are more Biblical tests than merely one to try self-proclaimed prophets. Jesus is not a separate being than Christ - that is a doctrine of the spirit of antichrist (1 Jn. 4:1-6).

So, since you cannot speak other languages, your task is limited to English versions?

You say you have no prophesy powers, yet, you just prophesied about your mission.

How are you to get rid of these other Bibles exactly? Go to the source, the publishers themselves, and convince them to stop the presses?

How will you get rid of all the other versions that people have right now? Door to door? City wide rallies to burn them?

What about the electronic versions? How will you get rid of them as well?

Have you employed any other persons to help you?

Which will be the only version left after you are done?

It's probably safe to conclude that Thorwald is a KJVOnlyist. Thorwald claims he was seeking some spiritual experience, most likey this agenda had a preplanned objective to prove the KJV is the only "real" Bible. I see nowhere in NT Scriptures where we are told to seek a sign. In this incident it looks as if Thorwald was seeking a sign to prove that his choice of version is endorsed by God above all other versions.

Pretending his experience was real, did satan or another being give him the sign he requested?

That would be scary to say the least.

Another theory, probably more likely and one that is along a more sober note is that he made the entire thing up and perhaps is trolling as well.

Is there an extent that KJVOnlists won't go to to "prove" their theory? And, what is it with KJVOnlyists infatuation whith spiritism, satan, demons, UFO's, signs &c???

What does KJO have to do with spiritualism, demons, and UFOs? If I remember correctly, you started a thread on demons. Many folks who are not KJO related experiences. There was also a thread on UFOs sometime back, and many folks who are not KJO related they had experiences in this area. Quite frankly, I have had experiences in both areas, but I don't think it has anything to do with my being KJO. And I am certainly not obsessed with these subjects, I have never started a thread on either subject. But if someone asks my experiences, I will tell them the truth.

There was probably more folks who are not KJO that had experiences in these areas than not. And you were one of them!

First of all, I have no problem with the thread you started. What I do have a problem with is you implying that KJOs are all nut cases.

I have learned this, do not easily dismiss experiences others relate to you. They may very well be telling you the absolute truth. There is no way to know. Now, I'm not saying Thorwald's dream was a real dream from God the way folks in the OT received dreams like this, but he may be telling the truth that he had this dream. All you can do is test an experience like this against scripture.

But there are lots of wierd things happening in the world. My best friend is the most down to earth fellow you would ever know, but he had a very strange experience with his older brother when he was a young teen. His brother was driving, he was the passenger, when suddenly an elderly man appeared directly in their path. His brother braked hard but struck the man. The man flew up on the hood, and my friend says he will never forget the old man's face pressed on the windshield directly in front of him. When the car stopped the old man was thrown forward off the car. They both jumped out to help the man, but he was nowhere to be found. They looked and looked, but could not find the man. They went home and immediately told their parents. The funny thing is, they knew the elderly man, he was a neighbor. And they saw him afterward in the neighborhood and the man was fine.

Now, my friend says this happened, and to this day 40 years later his brother and he still talk about it. My friend is a good honest Christian very involved in the church. He is very sober, he has never had a single drink in his entire life, no drugs, no cigarettes, nothing. He is happily married with two wonderful sons who also are very active in our church. My friend is no nut case, and I absolutely believe his story because I have known him for years and know him to be a very honest fellow.

So, at least investigate a little bit before your ridicule folks. You never know. I have learned this the hard way, and perhaps you will too.
