Is God going to let America go into a time of famine? (Lack of God's Word)

The great preachers in the public's eye of the past century seem to be droping like flies and who is stepping into their shoes?

Just in the recent past we have lost men like Rogers, Kennedy, Farwell and Graham is out of the picture as well as Robertson going weak over the past few years.

Who is going to take a stand for the unadulterated truth in the near future who has any notoriety in this country? Who will the media turn to for God's word on the matters? Olsteen?

Is God going to raise up another Graham to call for repentance? Or a Kennedy to hold the ACLU at bay?

What do you think is going to come of our nation? Will God turn us over because we continue to let political correctness fester without challenge.

Olsteen had a chance to tell the truth about Christ on national tv, Larry King, and failed. Huckabee, a former baptist preacher, had the chance on the Oreilly factor, was asked three times if Jesus was the ONLY way, and failed. Is there anyone out there who is willing to tell America the truth anymore? How will our nation ever repent if they never hear the truth?

God help us!! Pray for Christian leaders who will preach the word. :thumbs:

Amen. It is frightening. I have a friend who I've been praying for her salvation and she will not listen to sound doctrine but enjoys Olsteen.

We in the church have a duty and responsibility to preach/teach/witness the truth in this world of ear tickling doctrines. As far as who will fill the shoes of the greats that we have lost, I don't have a clue.

Paul talked of the great apostasy of the church in latter days and I think we are witnessing just that.

Let's see, I wonder if we can count as evidence of New Age infiltration of some churches the introduction of "Christian" yoga as on of the offered programs; introduction of the labryinth as a component of worship; the veneration of the goddess Gaia as an object of worship. You'll find these at some so-called "mainline" churches if you look long enough.
