    On their xmas cards to everyone will be this verse...

    MAT 1:21

    She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will MAKE SALVATION POSSIBLE to

    ALL people from their sins...

    The Calvinist xmas... we just use the verse as it is in the Bible...

    Matthew 1:21 21 She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save

    his people from their sins."

    I do not celebrate xmas, nor do I send xmas Cards.

    I celebrate Christmas, and send Christmas Cards.


    Xmas must be the way Calvinists see the season.

    Could you calvinist be anymore prideful or arrogant? I wonder? Is there an once of passion for people or just for the teachings of John Calvin?

    Hi Tim,

    Of course we could be. There are haughty Calvinists and haughty Arminians. There are humble Calvinists and humble Arminians. There are Calvinists with passion for the lost, as well as Arminians. There are Calvinists who won't witness, as well as Arminians. There are also judgmental people on both sides, and in the middle.

    So, what's your take on the verse "rc" quoted, Matthew 1:21?
