Another Glimpse of Obamacare???

Today, when I went to pick up some more Rx's [that weren't ready on Monday] for my wife and me, I had another glimpse of what I could expect once Obamacare is implemented.

One of my wife's meds were less than the 100 day supply, and, the one I picked up for me, was only for 30 days, too. Apparently, there is a "nation-wide shortage" on both of these meds, and our HMO is limiting the refills to no more than 30 days, at this time.

Oh, by the way, the lines were once again, around the corner and down the hall, and the fire doors were not down like they were on Monday.

If this is a preview of what we can expect to see once this new and better health plan is implemented, I would say to all of you that we, as a nation, have something to "concerned" about!:praying:

Shalom,

How are these a glimpse into Obamacare? If anything you are showing that the current system isn't working, since you are having problems under the current system.

I'm not a fan of "Obamacare". I don't think the current system is broken beyond repair, but I'm just not following your reasoning here.

Well, Let Me Try To Make It Perfectly Clear

Actually, Matt, these snafu's in our extremely good HMO give me a glimpse at the way things could be if Obamacare goes into effect. You can bet that there will be longer lines, with millions of more people added to the roles of health care [which is a good thing for those who need insurance, and can't afford, or get it, for one reason or more]. Than the little snafu with the shortage of meds could be a look at what will come forth as this new bill could mean rationing of services and supplies.

That is what my thinking is rooted in....hope that makes sense, because it made sense to me when I observed it and wrote it. I had hoped that I was more clear than what your questions have made me now question???

In Christ,

Pastor Paul

Sorry,

"Another" glimpse of Obamacare? You haven't adequately demonstrated how the thread below was your first glimpse:

http://www.baptistboard.com/showthread.php?t=63764

I would have to assume that your are one of those people who want "adequate evidence" no matter how good the initial evidence is. I think that those who have read the original post are a testament to my ability to lay out the information in a way that they could understand; it is unfortunate that you were left in the dust of the tracks of my creative writing and thinking .

So, while I understand your point, the majority has quashed your argument in a big way. Find another member and a post to pick an argument with in your support of King Obama and his court jesters. Now, in the love of Jesus, and in the spirit of goodwill and harmony between brothers, I'm putting your feedback to :sleeping_2:.

Shalom.

In the interest of peace , and probably a complete waste of time, I think that what rd2 is saying is that what he experienced is an aberration today , but will be commonplace under Obamacare.

At least that's the way I took it.

You see, I knew there were those who understood what I was saying. I thought I was clear, that this was not common place at my HMO, which made it a possible look into the future of what may be to come.

Thanks Capro, and JohnV, I thank you for your feedback, and appreciate your gracious act to acquiesce.
