(CNSNews.com) - In a speech delivered six months before his administration decided to try 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed in a federal civilian court, President Barack Obama said he would use military commissions to try terrorists who “violate the laws of war” and to protect intelligence sources and methods as well as the safety of the people who would need to participate in such trials.

In the speech, Obama said: “We are indeed at war with al Qaeda and its affiliates.

I guess this means that KSM did not "violate the laws of war".

I think in Oboma's mind the truth is is more of an ideal. If what he is saying or doing is helping to further an idea he believes to be a true direction the country should turn, than it is the truth.

It is sad, he is the president, but God is in control so I don't get to bent out of shape over the guy. I just hope and pray he only is a one term president.

Obama doesn't even try and doesn't seem to care when he's caught. And he's caught a lot.

It a leading symptom of pathological narcissism. He is dangerous in ways most of us don't want to admit.

I really believe he is mentally unstable.

Yes, what I find very alarming about Obama is that he is not bothered in the least when he is caught in a lie. His arrogance is amazing. He just smiles and tells another lie, fully convinced that he can persuade people with his great qualities.

I don't know if he is mentally ill, but he is certainly self-deceived. He truly believes he is very gifted and superior to everyone, that he, and only he knows the answers. He is full of pride to an amazing degree.
