Does anyone love art out there?
I am in Chicago on business, and flew in early so I could spend a day at the Art Institute. I am still all giddy.....

I love (or at least, enjoy) art. I was at an art gallery a few Friday nights ago. We ended up at the Charlotte Repatory Theatre headquarters, which was housed in the same building.

I love art. I do some painting myself but not as good as the masters. Still I love to go and look at the many different styles of art out there.

Love art and try to hit museums too. I am into the Dutch Masters and Renaissance paintings. Some of the best in the Hermitage in St Petersburg.

    Three cheers for culture!

Escher is a great one indeed.

My personal favorite is Jackson Pollack. Most of his works reside in the Guggenheim in Manhattan. While I was in the Art Institute, I stumbled across one of Pollack's pieces on the second floor. Oddly enough, my favorite painting by Pablo Picasso was Pollack's favorite painting by Pablo Picasso.

Rob and I are fans of M.C. Escher. We have a couple of his books and some of his postcards too. [IMG]
