As to the Lord sees the faith of non Christians as being meriting salvation, due to no fault of their own, not receiving catholic doctrines, so he would view them as would have been catholic if they had heard?

That God will save based upon sincerity of their faith?

It may be supposed that such persons would have desired Baptism explicitly if they had known its necessity."

So ANY person who is faithful to what their religion teaches will be saved by God?

How can that be, when the Bible plainly teaches that unless you call upon THAT name of Jesus, are lost?
