An interesting situation now that Saddam Hussein's Iraq is no longer a check on Iran and now that Syria no longer controls Lebanon.

The common denominator is they all hate Israel (little satan) and they all hate America (big satan).

They only tolerate America because we throw money at them either through foreign aid or buying their oil. But we will "get ours" one day, too. That's about it in a nutshell.

Since you display the flag of Israel, is the "ours" in your case a reference to Israel?

No, the reference is to the USA. Ever hear the story of the camel?

    Source....from the Internet, Camel Stories

Well, we may still have a chance with preemptive 'peacemaking', but we will have to get in there fast.

Then why don't you show the U.S flag instead of the flag of a foreign nation? I must admit that I have my suspicions as to which country you are truly loyal to.

By the way, is there a way on this new board set up to add the U.S. flag back to my avatar without interfering with Ossum's photo?

Perhaps I am a Jew. Perhaps I have dual citizenship. Perhaps I have Israeli citizenship and am an illegal alien in the US. Perhaps I am not a citizen of either nation, but am an alien from outer space. Or, perhaps if I could have two avatars, I would fly two flags. Or perhaps it is none of your business unless you are the flag police.

By the way, three of the reasons that there are 25,000 Americans in Lebanon is that some of them have dual citizenship and are visiting family, it is the tourist season there, and it had been a relatively peaceful country for the past few years.

There are also quite a few from the UK in the same situation from what I read on the web.

I learned on the playground, when everyone wants to watch a fight - they start one with whoever is available.

To many people want to see Israel drive Christians out of the mid east.
