Black Rifle Coffee prominently displays the slogan “America’s Coffee” and the American flag on its coffee bags, leading consumers to believe the coffee is grown or produced in the United States.

However, the plaintiffs argue that none of Black Rifle Coffee’s products are made in the United States, and that the company’s use of the slogan and flag is misleading and deceptive.

I need to add....Black Rifle uses premium beans (which obviously do not come from the US).

BUT it is made in the US (it is not grown in the US, but they do not sell raw beans).

They have a large roasting factory in Manchester TN (not far from where I lived years ago).

The company focuses on helping and employing veterans.

I am not sure I agree that it is not a US product. The roasting and prep is the main factor in producing coffee (not growing the beans). And the coffee is produced (made) in the US.

So....what is the difference between "grown in the US" and "made (or produced) in the US"?

US grown coffee is grown in California, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico. I couldn’t tell you what makes these places better or subpar for growing coffee.

I think the quality is good, but the flavor seems different to me. Not as...deep(?)...something.

I do not know why. It seems that Hawaii would be great due to the volcanic soil. But it does not taste the same.

A good experiment (if you are a coffee geek) is to try a few different single origin coffees.

I'm sure it is just a preference thing. But with things like coffee, I get what I prefer.
