I'm not much of a hockey fan, but this is exceedingly cool, if you ask me. (and I dont mean the temperature!)

I watched about 2 minutes of it, saw the goal... went back to football. It was a great idea playing outside. Never really gotten into watching hockey ontv. But watching it at a rink is outstanding.

I watched the last half of it. It was neat.

Now that football season is winding down it is time for me to start watching more Dallas Stars hockey.

By the way, there was an NHL game played outdoors four years ago in Canada.

I saw the very end of it.
BUt a slight correction is that it is NOT the first outdoor game in the NHL, just the first in the US.
The first was played in Canada a few years ago.
I wished I had known it was on. It would have been fun to watch it all I am sure.

Peeked in in between bowl games. I am a big Predators fan and love the NHL, especially since cretans have stopped trying to steal the Preds and take them to some remote outpost somewhere.

    I digress....

Interesting. I think once a season might be a nice touch. Just glad the All-Star game isn't midweek like last year. Nice job, commish.

Shouldn't that be a sarcastic "Nice job" for Gary "I single-handedly ruined a pro sports league" Bettman? The All-Star game on a weeknight was yet another bad idea from him. I don't understand why Bettman remains the commissioner of the league.
