I am currently preaching through Ezekiel 36:16-38, and I have been struck by the absolute sovereignty of God in salvation depicted in those verses.
v.23. 'I will sanctify My great name.....'
v.24. 'I will take you from among the nations.....'
v.25. 'I will sprinkle clean water......I will cleanse you.....'
v.26. 'I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit......I will take the heart of stone out......'
v.27. 'I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk......'
v.29. 'I will deliver you......'
v.30 'I will multiply........'
v.32. 'Not for your sake do I do this.......'
v.33. 'I will also enable you.......'
v.36. 'I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places.......'
v.37. 'I will also let the House of Israel inquire.......I will increase their men.....'
v.38. 'Then they shall know that I am the LORD.'
Jonah 2:9. 'Salvation is of the LORD.'
