I dont give a darn what he has to say. But I do care about what the bible says God does not forbid debts, he only forbids not paying on them.

Questions for those who claim we should owe no man anything

How does this idea allow for the Greek meaning of the word "owe"?
The Greek word is in the present tense, not the aorist tense.
Therefore, it is not referring to the idea we should never, at any

Today I talked with a 50 year old man who gave me some enouragement. He was on disability for 5+ years. In that time without a job he incurred some 60-70K in CC debt. Thats many many times higher than my dinky $4,500. Even my debt is below the California state average, and much lower than the San Francisco Bay Area average.

I have been to this mans house and can honestly say that he does not live in style. He is poor and most of that 60-70K was used as he claims to fix cars, and deal with medical problems.

But he told me of how God worked in his family's life and the CC companies forgave his 60-70K wihtout a bankrupcy!

Know the Lord gave him a job as he is no longer disabled and will start working and saving.

He said that it was a waste of time trying to prove or make people form outside of california understand what debt is. They DO NOT and cannot understand, since they do not know what it is like living outside a depressed economy.

If you are so upset that you cannot post in a civil manner then why don't you find yourself a board that is more suitable to your liking? There are other boards that enjoy tearing one another apart if that is what you enjoy. No one is stopping you from joining such a board. But you agreed to abide by the rules of this board when you joined. Thus far you have not. Read them over again. If you still disagree with or find that you cannot abide with them, I suggest that you resign your membership and find another board where you will feel more at home.

In fact, if you could show me where people have called you a lunatic I would report it to the person who moderates that forum for you. You said that Gib and several others have called you a lunatic - could you please provide a link to those several posts so they can be dealt with?

You have yet to substantiate any cases of hypocrisy or bias, John. You throw out charges, express your hatred for me, yet never give any evidence for your case.

Inspite of your mean-spirited attitude toward me John, and a long litany of names you have called me, I continue to love you and pray for you daily.

There is such a temptation to waste time blathering about nothing and accomplishing nothing, isn't there?
