Below are the actual voting records of various Arabic/Islamic States which are recorded in both the US State Department and United Nations records:

Kuwait votes against the United States 67% of the time

Qatar votes against the United States 67% of the time

Morocco votes against the United States 70% of the time

United Arab Emirates votes against the U. S. 70% of the time.

Jordan votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Tunisia votes against the United States 71% of the time.

Saudi Arabia votes against the United States 73% of the time.

Yemen votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Algeria votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Oman votes against the United States 74% of the time.

Sudan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Pakistan votes against the United States 75% of the time.

Libya votes against the United States 76% of the time.

Egypt votes against the United States 79% of the time.

Lebanon votes against the United States 80% of the time.

India votes against the United States 81% of the time.

Syria votes against the United States 84% of the time.

Mauritania votes against the United States 87% of the time.

U S Foreign Aid to those that hate us:

Egypt, for example, after voting 79% of the time against the United States, still receives $2 billion annually in US Foreign Aid.

Jordan votes 71% against the United States

And receives $192,814,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

Pakistan votes 75% against the United States

Receives $6,721,000 annually in US Foreign Aid.

India votes 81% against the United States

    Receives $143,699,000 annually.

Perhaps it is time to get out of the UN and give the tax savings back to the American workers

Where do these figures come from and how were they determined?

    What is your source?

Are you suggesting that we provide aid only to those countries where we can count on their support?

I found your post interesting but it makes me wonder if they are voting the conscious of their nations -or- are they just taking the opposite tack of the United States, just because.

I'm not sure if you would be able to recognize the truth yourself, but I certainly would trust what Daisy says over what you say. She has proven herself to be balanced in her viewpoints and not all all like you.

Part of the price of keeping Israel and Egypt friendly.

Not even enough to build a Bridge to Nowhere.

Is that a typo? That's all the Pakestanis get for aiding the U.S. against bin Laden?

And, as Ken pointed out, India is predominantly Hindu.

Besides, our foreign aid is not based upon membership in the U.N. or how member states vote.

I would quote Mark Twain on statistics, but that's not quite family friendly. I notice that, using those numbers, we also should take a whack at: Argentina, Armenia, Belarus, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Botswana, Brazil, Dominica (which authorized the invasion of Grenada, Kenya, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Nigeria, the Philippines, St. Kitts and Nevis (I shudder at their displeasure), Russia, Singapore (a bastion of dog-eat-dog capitalism), and Ukraine.

Of course, this is based on about 10 votes for the year.

The U.S. is the big dog, and smaller countries like to nip. Better they do it at the U.N. than from behind a gun or strapped to a bomb.

Thank you for providing your sources. Cut & paste posts without attribution are near plagarism as well as against the rules.

Yes, I know - I had already looked it up (snopes linkie). Arab/Islamic countries (why include India?) are not the only nations that consistently vote agaist us. Israel is about the only one who mostly votes with us - at least back in 2004 when this little diatribe first surfaced.

So the links you gave are not the actual source to the OP - again, what was your source for that? You did have one; you didn't just pull it out of the air?
You're relatively new here, and obviously young, but that is ignorant, rude and wrong. If you're going to insult someone, know who they are and make it appropriate.

If you're going to insult someone, know who they are and make it appropriate. </font>[/QUOTE]It is just very obvious from your posts and the basic doctrine of liberalism. If the truth mattered then liberalism would cease to exist. These forums are rampant with folks that put liberal talking points above Christian values. Though you are not as bad as most who are much more obvious.

As far as my being new here who really cares. And as for me being young it wouldn't be the first time you were wrong.

That I'm not interested in facts and truth? Either you have me confused with someone else or you're so blinded by your hatred for liberals that you are incapable of much discernment.

What do you believe the "basic doctrine of liberalism" to be? You speak of it as though it were a religion.

You don't know what you're talking about.

Christian values seem to vary depending on which Christian you're talking to. What are "liberal talking points"?

I wish I were able to pay you the same compliment, but alas!

I had been willing to cut you some slack for it.

    Nor the last.

Your callowness made you seem young; that as well as your willingness to insult people you don't even know based on their political persuasion - but Glenn Miller and Pink Floyd? That points to your being older than your maturity and level of civility would indicate.

So, for the 3rd time, what is the source of the OP? Do you not know or are you ashamed to say?

Don't worry too much, Daisy. It was poached from some Internet site or came by e-mail, and the poster really doesn't know anything about the topic other than it's a good opportunity to bash someone.

Does seem that since WW2 we have consistantly shafted our friends and helped our nemenies - Israel excepted, of course. We should dump all that money into helping countries on this side of the world.

India is probably included because it has a significant muslim population.

Thanks for posting this information. Perhaps it should be a featured topic since we hear all the time, even on here, what "friends" we have in the Arab/muslim world and how it doesn't matter if they take over our ports, defense contracts, etc. I never want this thread archived or deleted forever and ever. It's not only our "friends" who vote against us, but our friends as well:
Of course, there is another way of looking at it - perhaps we're the ones voting against our "friends".
