Arabs killing Arabs, role of western troops in Iraq

It's not a matter of "satisfaction" as much as a matter of fact.

But let's say Muslims instead of Arabs since Iraqis and Iranians are technically not Arabs.

For the last 25 years muslims have been proven proficient at killing each other and not much else.

No one else even comes close.

 

Wonder why no one in the mainstream press is talking about PNAC's document "Rebuilding America's Defenses" it was written by the same neocons that pushed Clinton into making regime change official policy and Bush into carrying it out it doesn't get any plainer than what was written by them on page 14 of the document.

There it is in black and white in their own document. The admission that Saddam was just a convenient excuse to wage war and place an imperial outpost in the middle east.

But the planners knew it wouldn't be easy to convince the American people to root for imperialism.

Something was going to have to change the peoples mind about the wished for "imperial mobilization".

Hey, wait a minute what is he saying? Back up a second.

I remember reading something like this in the PNAC document too! What was that again? Here it is same document.

Is that enough of a "catastrophic catalyzing sudden threat or challenge to the public's sense of domestic well-being" to get the "popular passion" of Americans to back "military intimidation" the "pursuit of power" and an "imperial mobilization"? Guess we aren't so "ambivalent" to the "external projection of American power" now are we?

PNAC and Brzezinski both got there wish and their dream came true. Neat how that all happened by shear coincidence isn't it?

 

Don't you ever give it a rest man? You turn every single thread into an opportunity to go on about your conspiracy theories. Talk about going off topic! What do PNAC and Brzezinski have to do with the topic? Brzezinki does not rule America! He was part of a failed administration and is free to expound his opinions, but that's all it is..his opinions!

 

As far as the so-called civil war in Iraq, I think the author of the article is way off-base in saying that many of us are rooting for more Arab vs Arab killing, or that it would give us a good excuse to leave. It is exactly what out troops there have been trying to prevent. The goal of Al Queda in Iraq has always been to start civil war and the Shiites have generally been very restrained in their response. The current leaders in Iraq are doing their best to calm things down and that is a good sign.

According to his resume Brzezinski, holding a 1953 Ph.D. from Harvard, lists the following achievements:

1988 - Co-chairman of the Bush National Security Advisory Task Force.

Brzezinski is also a past attendee and presenter at several conferences of the Bilderberger group - a non-partisan affiliation of the wealthiest and most powerful families and corporations on the planet.

In other words he writes the policies and advises the advisors. Hello?

I'd say he knows what he's talking about when it comes to geopolitics. You know for the life of me I cannot understand why you guys won't believe what these guys have been telling us all along. The war on terror is staged. They admit it in their own documents!

I'm amazed.

What do PNAC and Brzezinski have to do with this topic? They planned this war before 1997, they tell us right up front. What is it about the truth you are so afraid of anyway?

Do like being lied too? Do you like to be deceived? What are you so afraid of Al Qaeda? Relax if there was such a threat to this country as the neocons are saying don't you think they'd have closed the borders by now?

If our troops are trying to prevent a civil war from happening then why are the British troops dressing in arab clothes and shooting Iraqi polce dead in the street?

What is the Iraqi national guard doing protecting and helping the people that bombed the first mosque get away? I tell ya if you guys would switch off the tv and read the back pages of the nespapers you might be informed enoughto have some idea of whats is really going on over there instead of being scared into giving up our rights and condoning murder.

Agreed.

Pretty much disagree with this author's opinion piece. A civil war in Iraq was inevitable, like I've been saying all along. In the end, it will be a blood bath and I hope our troops don't continue to be sacrificed for this hopeless cause.

 

That was his main claim to fame, being National Security advisor to Carter, a failed administration. I don't doubt that he writes reams of advice and opinion, but he doesn't run the show. You and others are convinced that he is the man behind the curtain. Fine. Inserting that conviction into every single thread (approximately 4000 times), regardless of the topic, puts me in mind of fanaticism. But no matter, it will be allowed to continue.

 

The PNAC people say the same thing. And they have been the ones running the show at least on the surface.
