Does it make sense to put monkey serum and live viruses directly into the blood stream of our healthy children?

There is alot of debate over whether immunizations even work. There is also concern that vaccines are causing autism, ADD, and other degenerative diseases that occur later in life like arthritis, etc.

The kidneys and liver are designed to filter out impurities in the things we eat and the air we breath, but immunizations by-pass God's design for the human body by putting animal proteins directly into the human circulatory system.

Shouldn't that raise concerns over the legitimacy of vaccines?

For the record, no child must be immunized to attend school. Neither does any adult need to be immunized to work in the health professions. There are waivers and exemptions for people who do not want their children immunized for personal, religious, or health reasons.

As Christians, why are we on the whole not thinking through this issue?

Paul33: "For the record, no child must be immunized to attend school."

I know that is NOT true in my state, Oklahoma.
I am relatively sure it is not true in
    your state, Michigan.

BTW, a debate is going on wheather or not
viruses are 'alive' hinging on the definition
of 'alive'. If they aren't alive, they can't
    be 'dead' [IMG]

    Your wrong, Ed.

Every state "requires" immunization for school children. The schools when informing you of the requirment are also supposed to inform you that you have a right to exempt your children from immuniations for specific reasons, usually a combination of "relgious, personal, or medical." Most of the time they fail to follow the law and don't inform you of your rights.

Live or dead, should we be putting disease causing viruses into our children's bodies, bypassing the very purpose of the liver and kidney?

    MAtthew 5:25-26 (KJV1611 edition):
Agree with thine aduersarie quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him: least at any time the aduersarie deliuer thee to the iudge, and the iudge deliuer thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison.
26 Uerily I say vnto thee, thou shalt by no meanes come out thence, till thou hast payd the vttermost farthing.

If you don't have your children vaccinated
    (making the government your aduersarie),
Jesus says you will end up paying for it to the last cent.

In Western African, i think it is northwest of Nigeria,
there is a country where they think the USofA is plotting
to kill their children with smallpox vaccines.
That country is the only one in the world that has
had smallpox deaths in the last 30 years.

    Again, that is not true.

Ed, if the government allows us to exempt our children from immunizations, how is exercising that right making the government our adversary.

They allow the exemption because they know that that let's them off the hook when complications from immunizations occur, which are gravely under reported.

Many doctors will not let their children be immunized, even as they immunize yours!

    Michigan State Statute

    333.9215 Exemptions.

    Sec. 9215.

    (1) A child is exempt from the requirements of this part as to a specific immunization for any period of time as to which a physician certifies that a specific immunization is or may be detrimental to the child's health or is not appropriate.

    (2) A child is exempt from this part if a parent, guardian, or person in loco parentis of the child presents a written statement to the administrator of the child's school or operator of the group program to the effect that the requirements of this part cannot be met because of religious convictions or other objection to immunization.

    --------------------------------------

Ed, Michigan has an exemption just like I said they do! I'm positive Oklahoma does too, but I haven't checked.

Don't even get me started. We have seen so many problems directly tied to certain shots (dpt is the worst). Of course, we're health nuts and my wife a naturopathic doctor.

We quit all immunization as we learned more and more of the dangers. None of our 8 grandchildren have had any immunization.

Injecting poisons and high doses of mercury (the base of many immunizations) may have norrible effects:

Polio is reappearing in some countries and colleges all over the U.S. are demanding measle shots because of serious illnesses and deaths caused by this disease.

I'm with Ed on this. I had a childhood friend (boy) left sterile for life from mumps. I had a childhood friend crippled by polio and my husband's father eventually died from polio. The 'bite' is much worse than the 'bark' in the instances of 'extinct' childhood diseases.

The leading cause of death in 1905 was
due to the DPT diseases. The average
age in the USofA in 1905 was 47.
    Vaccination made the difference.
Of course, with the average age in the US
up to 77, we have much more cases
    of old-age stuff like arthritis.

The only way you can get away with NOT
vaccinating your children is if 95% of the
rest of us take our vaccinations.
Society as a whole must use the vaccinations.
So whilst it might be tempting to go off
in your own direction, you live in a complciated
world where we all must interact - wheather
    we want to or not.

Vaccination did not make the difference. The studies are seriously flawed.

Polio decreased only because the disease was reclassified after the start of immunizations. Spiral menengitis soared (the new name for polio).

With a little research, you can discover the truth about vaccines. I would encourage you to do this. Diet plays a much larger role in the elimination of disease than immunizations have, had, or ever will!

Please look into this, folks, because your health and well-being are at stake.

With respect to Diane and Ed, you both have made comments that reflect a lack of research into this issue. Check it out, please!

Dr. Bob! None of our kids have been immunized. We also eat fresh vegetables, little dairy, little meat, organic wheat that we grind ourselves, and fresh fruit.

We have the healthiest kids in the city!

I agree, Diane! I have seen too many people who have suffered from the childhood diseases that are prevented by the vaccinations.

As to research why? We have seen it first hand and lived in fear of contacting these diseases.

I think the only reason I didn't get polio was that my mother would not let us go any where there were crowds. We couldn't go swimming at the community pools or go to movie theaters, etc.
We were limited to our very small community.

My poor eyesight was probably caused from a very bad case of measles when I was a child.

I was exposed to diphtheria, but had been vaccinated so I didn't get diphtheria.

But then I don't take flu shots. :D

Well, this was unfortunately the response that I thougt I would get with this topic.

Without thinking or discerning, we have accepted the practice of injecting animal impurities and mercury directly into our children's blood streams, on the alleged basis that they work, without ever doing any research on our own to see if what we are being told is true!

Why do you think that every state has a medical exemption to immunizations? To get them off the hook!

But go ahead, believe what you will. Some of you will research down to the last detail the car you will buy, but without thinking, you inject your kids with poison in violation of God's Word?

    Oklahoma State Statute:

    §70-1210.192.

    §70-1210.192.

Any minor child, through the parent, guardian, or legal custodian of
the child, may submit to the health authority charged with the
enforcement of the immunization laws of this state:

    1. A certificate of a licensed physician as defined in Section 725.2
of Title 59 of the Oklahoma Statutes, stating that the physical
condition of the child is such that immunization would endanger the
life or health of the child; or

    2. A written statement by the parent, guardian or legal custodian of
    the child objecting to immunization of the child;

whereupon the child shall be exempt from the immunization laws of this
    state.

    --------------------------------------------

Ed, would you please retract your statement that Oklahoma doesn't allow an exemption to immunization for children in school.

Also, Ed, if you were uninformed about this, what else are you uninformed about?

When it comes to immunizations, folks, you've been fed a line of mistruth and lies!

    Research for yourself!

Paul33: "Why do you think that every state has
a medical exemption to immunizations? To get them off the hook!"

Typical of state governments. The state of Oklahoma has a
'financial responsibility' law. So you have to have liability
insurance OR $100,000 in the bank. If you don't have proof of
possessing liability insurance when you are examined by
the police (check points, accident, breaking laws), you are
fined. The fines are NOT used to pay for uninsured motorists,
the fines are used in case the State of Oklahoma gets sued, to
    protect themselves.

Before the law was passed, 35% of the Oklahomans driving on
the road did NOT have liability insurance. Ten years after
the law, that number went down to about 25%. Needless to say,
i wouldn't buy auto insurance without getting the 'uninsured
    motorist' option.

Paul33: " ... you inject your kids with poison in violation of God's Word."

    Scripure reference, please. Thank you.

    Ed,

Out of humility, could you just say, "I was wrong about what the state allowed concerning immunizations. Yes, one can exempt their children from immunization laws in Oklahoma."

Could you do that for me. It would really restore my confidence in you. [IMG]

When we discuss smoking or alcohol use, do we not use the scripture, "Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit"?

Most state laws are not inforced, including these sops to
the federal government. If a state falls below a certain
percentage of immunization, the federal government will
cut them off. I suggest on the REALITY plain, children
need to be immunized to attend school in Oklahoma.
Have you checked into home schooling? Have you checked
the Michigan law and practice (consulting a Michigan registered
lawyer would be best) for the requirement to immunize
    home schooled children?

BTW, i understand how Christian Scientists can be exempt on
religious grounds. How do Baptists get exempt from innunization?
