No, it is not. As annsni said, God gives us all talents and sometimes we use these to make a living. If God gives someone the ability to write music, there's nothing wrong with making a living off of that. Is it a sin for a person speaking words given to him by he Holy Spirit be paid to tell people those words on Sunday? I Tim 5:18 says No

Making CD's and writing books costs money. Where do you think this money would come from to make the CD's and books? A corporation many times is just for tax purposes.
