"Are You a Baloney Christian?"

    I picked up this book by Warren Coffey at my college library yesterday in the used book section for 50 cents.

    Among other things, the other supports soul sleep, annihilationism, the concept of the Holy Spirit as the 3rd member of the Trinity as a "satanic deception," and several other topics.

    After glancing through it, I basically bought it for two reasons: 1) to keep some weaker Christians from finding it and falling prey to some of it (maybe a good reason, maybe not) and 2) to research it myself.

    Is anyone familiar with Coffey and his teachings?

    Not familiar with it, or the author. But I have bought books for the same reason before.

    Sounds like Warren Coffey could be an International Bible Student (forerunner of Jehovah's Witnesses) or a spin-off from that group.

    What is the name of the Publishing Company?

    What is the publication date - approximately if it is not explicitely stated?

    Could also be a Millenial Dawn book or Millerite or 7th Day Baptist or something like that.

    Let's see... Warlax Press out of Cincinnati, copyright 2002. The only info given about the author is that he is a "concerned and studied lay Christian" who "will open your eyes to the starting truth concerning major doctrines being falsely preached by millions of unsuspecting Christians throughout the world."
