Are you a missionary now? Where do you live and work?

I am a `missionary` - in my home, in the place where I work and whenever and wherever the opportunity arises... I say this because I believe that as followers of Christ we should all carry the Gospel message and spread the Good News. Even in our `civilised` communities we should be missionaries.
I realise that you mean in a foriegn land, and that the hardships and danger of some places is unimaginable to us, but sometimes it is necessary to stay where God places us and be missionaries there. [IMG]

Everyone's a missionary in one way or another. Everyone has an individual mission. Mine is to build homes for the poor. I fulfill the mission through my volunteering in Habitat for Humanity.

You haven't seen the eyes of Jesus until you've seen the eyes of a person who's just been handed the keys to a home, which you built.

I am a missionary and live on support. That certainly causes one's faith in and dependence on the Lord to grow as you depend entirely on what others are giving. I live in Arlington, VA, but travel around quite a bit speaking in churches and conferences on the New Age and the occult, and also doing outreach to those in the New Age and the occult. I maintain a website with info on these areas at http://cana.userworld.com and interact with a lot of unbelievers through that, some for a few years. Also answer questions from believers who often want info or suggestions on witnessing to those in the New Age or occult (both areas I was in for about 20 yrs.).

Yes.My wife and I do missions work at the Travelers Chapel,a truck-stop ministry.Located in Malvern,Arkansas. It is very hard to find a church close to the trucking routes and with a large enough parking lot to accomadate the big rigs,so we took the church to the drivers. We will be attending a Missions Service Corp Orientation Camp this month in Paron,Arkansas. This is a very rewarding ministry.Everyone who comes in is seeking something from God.It is our mission to provide and meet that need.
