    LOL Sorry, maybe this is a very serious sign. I saw a church sign today when I went shopping that said "Resistance is futile"...thought that was funny.

    I thought everyone knew it was a "hoax" site? The idea of it is that a, it is "funny" and b, it stimulates discussion amongst Christians about why that is so. It is not meant to be anti Christian, but to encourage christians to think and understand what is happening around them. Hence the high number of jibes on issues like the Prosperity Gospel. or purpose driven church or whatever. [​IMG]

    The best church sign I ever saw was in a rural North Carolina town I was driving through. The sign, on the front of a small church, read: "The National Anthem of Hell: I Did It My Way".

    The reason I don't think site is funny is that I know people who would run across it and take it seriously. :(

    Landover's a satire, albeit (IMO) in poor taste. Unfortunately Westboro is real.

    When skipping church on Christmas become a an automatic go to hell offense??

    I wish church signs were used in better ways. Many are just plain silly A few are funny but for the most part a waste of time. Our church sign is used to tell the community what is going on at our church.
