I was at Ft Drum today. As I was approaching the PX an E-8 said " Hello Sir" I replied that I am an NCO.
He replied "Your WERE an NCO" I then said - "I still am!"

So Vets - what say you

    Not a bad motto!

But that stupid "An Army of One" was the worse

This got me thinking.....an officer who leaves the military resigns his commission. Is he still an officer?

The difference here is that NCO's work for a living. When we leave service we still have to work for a living. :Biggrin
