Astronomer Claims Meteor May Have Changed Course of Christianity

It was a vision that apparently led the biblical Paul to become one of the most influential figures in early Christianity by helping to spread the religion around the world.
But now astronomers believe the bright light in the sky that triggered the conversion of Paul the Apostle may have actually been a falling meteor 2,000 years ago.
They say descriptions of Paul's experience - in which he was blinded for three days after seeing a bright light - match accounts of the fireball that streaked across the sky above Chelyabinsk in Russia in 2013.

Riiiight...so only Paul was blinded, while those with him were not, even though they experienced the same "meteor?" Wow...what some people won't do to discredit the Bible...

It is amazing the idiocy displayed when much of the "anti-bible" arguments are dissected.
Makes me think of a neighbor whose son was playing in a local tennis tournament at about age 10. He had been playing pretty good until he came up against another kid who far surpassed him in skill, and his game went south.
Mama claimed that the reason was that it was so cold that day that "son" could not play well.
My wife asked her if the other player didn't have to endure the same cold?
An emotional pre-mindset on any topic can make one ignore some really obvious contradictions that to a disinterested party are glaring. :laugh::laugh:
