I was at a friends house tonight. He told me he recently went to a "well known" fast food joint. He went to the mens room. While washing his hands, he saw an employee come out of the stall and proceed straight to the kitchen- thats right the employee did NOT wash his hands.

My friend, when done, walk out to the dining area - and spoke (loudly) that an employee did not wash his hands after using the facilities.

    1. Would you have made such an announcement.
    2. If not, would you have told the manager?
    3. If hearing that announcement, would you:
    a. leave
    b. eat anyways.
    4. Other comment.

I don't know about that restaurant, but at the fast food place where I worked years ago there was a hand washing sink in the back with foot pedals that made it much easier to wash.

I don't know if announcing it like that was appropriate, but I certainly think confronting him and/or management would be appropriate. Been there, done that.

I absolutely would have gone to a manager and told him.
