    Wonderful book.

It's in my "all Christians should read" catagory.

    Amen, Bugman.

It is amazing how many Christians do not read the Christian classics. These are illiterate days.

    C. S. Lewis wrote that if one does not have the time to read BOTH the old and the new, he should read the OLD.

I read it some time ago. I really found it quite enlightening, in fact, I'm going to dig it out and read it again. Thanks for the prompt.

Theologically speaking Augustinus is ofcourse a mortal enemy of us baptists.

Doesn't change the fact that Confessions is a great book and among other things the first detailed salvation testimony ever published.
