all people who disagree with me are hereby banned until further notice.

Seriously, certain doctrines are heretical. The ME's did not believe in the all suffiency of Christ's atoning blood, thereby calling into question Christ's authority and power which ultimately calls into question His diety.

It's no different in my mind than allowing atheists to push their garbage. It has no place on Christian board. But that just my opinion. Ultimately, it is the administrators' call. I just happen to agree with them on this one.

This is a private board, and they have the right to set whatever standards they choose. If they said tomorrow that Calvinism was banned, one would either abide by it or move somewhere else.
I agree...I'm just having a bit of fun.

It is a private board. They have every right to do as they wish.

Anyone want to invent another salvation?...this board has gotten too quiet with not much to talk about! I'm off to heresyboard.com...

I'm sure we could come up with something. It took me forever to figure out what ME was. I'd never heard of it and it made no sense to me.

Go ahead webdog -- start something. Amy and I'll chime in.

I think Millennial Exclusion is heretical, just like Christian Zionism, Dispensationalism, Evolution, KJVOism, and the list goes on.

==Excuse me? Are you trying to make KJVO and Dispensationalism equal with evolution? Are you honestly trying to tell me that dispensationalism and KJVO are heresies? Do you know what that means? It means everyone who has believed those doctrines has perished in hell. Maybe you wish to re-word your statement?

My point is that the what has made the BB distinctive is in jeopardy. Some will agree with the decision, others won't. But now that it has happened it will be easier to ban the next group, and then all you'll have here are the people who agree with the "administrative council" and there will be no dialogue of any value or depth.

I sure wish Barnabas were still running the show.

amen to this post. Am I mistaken, or were the posters such as james Newman and Rufus_1611, removed entirely without even so much as a warning? If this is the case, shame.

They received warning. They continued to post their ME beliefs after receiving it.

Thank you, I did not see the warning, but I did not get to read every thread, that is why I wanted to ask. Is the thread still available to see the warning?

It was through PM, as well as posted in a sticky at the top of the appropriate forums. Notice the date and time, and some of the dates and times of the ME'ers posts.

This is the logical fallacy of the slippery slope. This argument has no merit.

I've been reading some of those threads - I'd ignored them before because it was a topic I knew nothing about and it coincided with school just starting. Skimming them I knew they would take more effort than the flibberty jibbet time I had to give them.

Well . . . I was astounded that it was allowed to go on as long and take up as much space as it was. I 'm surprised we lost so many though. I lost count.

There is another thread that Heavenly Pilgrim started in which DHK explains some history of prosyletyzing and different groups getting a leg in. It was an interesting read too. Not as interesting as the ME threads (once I figured out what I was actually reading)
