I always balance my checkbook to the penny.
I want to be fully aware of my account.
Besides math is always so easy.
2 + 2 always = four (unless you are a liberal)
I do it the old fashion way - I do not use a computer program.
Back in the day we used a cigar box for the spending money and mason jars for the savings. And we liked it. :wavey:
Yes, Padre - didnt anyone tell you during the Spanish-American War - that method went out the window?
Do you set your bedside clock ahead 5 minutes so you're never late for work, as well?I round up all purchases to the next dollar. If I spend 11.26, then I write in 12.00 - the bank balance is always higher than what my check register says.
No, I hit the snooze button a few times and then rush like a madman to get out of the door on time.Do you set your bedside clock ahead 5 minutes so you're never late for work, as well?

Check book? Are you living in the 1970s? I bank online. I pay my bills online. I fill in the info and the bank either does an electronic transfer or they cut a bank check and mail it to my creditor. And every deposit and withdrawal is listed on my online ledger. Works for me.![]()
